Bloom Fitness works to build a community around exercise.

Our goal is to ensure every rider feels apart of the community. Individuals with disABILITIES receive very few opportunities to be part of anything at all. We make an extra effort to make being part of Bloom Fitness something very cool and a community that the athletes are proud of.

BLOOM CYCLE

Bloom Cycle is a 60-minute spin class that consists of stationary bikes, fun and great music! Indoor cycling offers a fun way of getting exercise for a wide range of abilities. Cycling is a great way to have fun, build cardiovascular endurance, build strength and make friends!

FLOOR

Floor is a 40-minute high energy and no impact exercise class that combines lightweights with small movements. This class focuses on overall strength while ensuring everyone has fun and feels comfortable, yet challenged! Like all Bloom Fitness Classes, Floor accommodates for all abilities!

LAUGHTER YOGA

Laughter Yoga teaches tools for real life. Athletes practice flow in breathing exercises while laughing a lot! This class will increase happiness, strengthen the immune system, reduce pain and lower stress. Yoga mats are not required, only a sense of humor is required!

TRADITIONAL YOGA

Traditional Yoga is the newest addition to the program. Since yoga inherently provides a sense of belonging and community, it fits well into the Bloom Fitness community of wellness. This 45-minute adaptive class builds strength, improves mobility and improves overall health and emotional well-being.

BUILDING THE BLOOM COMMUNITY

There are many components that make up a Bloom Fitness class, but one of the most important is giving public acknowledgment for attending classes. 

Bloom Athletes are recognized by their hard work through the Champions Board that is prominently displayed in all Bloom studios. Athletes are awarded Bloom Fitness gear based on their attendance and hard work. All of the gear can be used in class and is a essential part in building our community. As the athletes earn more gear, their individual role in class increases. With this program, a community develops and Bloom athletes begin to feel they are part of something. Additionally, the incentive program keeps the athletes coming back to class on a consistent and long-term basis.

As the athletes continue to go to class they earn higher status — Captain and Coach.  These athletes will be awarded and wear different shirts to acknowledge their accomplishments and will acquire additional responsibilities, such as getting to class early to help the instructor set up, helping other athletes, etc.  Being recognized with the shirt and the additional responsibilities create great pride for these athletes.

The Champions Board tracks athlete attendance. After each Bloom Fitness class, athletes receive a sticker to put next to their name. This is a very exiting and important time in class!
